FEIA’S HEAD PRINCIPAL’S WELCOME
As the summer holidays have come to an end, we are now enjoying the excitement of having staff and students back in the classrooms and hallways; filling them with energy and an enthusiasm for learning and teaching.
FEIA welcomed both returning and brand new students to our school this year. Despite the challenges that COVID-19 has presented, our talented staff are teaching 59 domestic students here at 474 Central Avenue – almost four times as many as our inaugural year. At the same time, our sister school Hansen International School in China is hosting our international contingent of another 42 learners in their classrooms, while our online teachers provide the Ontario curriculum until it is safe for these students to return to us in Canada.
It is our mission to assist every student in feeling welcomed, connected, and part of the FEIA family! We strive to challenge each student to grow in his or her academic, social, and physical abilities; So by the time they leave us in grade 12, they will be fully prepared to enter the University of their choice.
In closing, I am honoured to serve as the Head Principal of Fort Erie International Academy. It truly is a privilege to be part of a community where parents, teachers and students care for each other and aim to build positive relationships that support academic and social growth.
I want to wish everyone a wonderful start to the school year, and please reach out to me directly if you have any questions or suggestions, our partnership is most important for your child’s success!

FALCONS SPOTLIGHT
Our FEIA Falcon’s Hockey Program also kicked off this week! After a couple of days in class to get used to having a routine once again, our student-athletes had their first on-ice practice on Thursday. After a hard workout, they returned to the school to re-fuel and air out their equipment in our temporary hockey lounge.

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
