/\ 4 /\ - CHANGE FOR CHANGE

Hunter G., Carter L., Zach V. and Taize D. all earned volunteer hours this past weekend by helping Vincent and the team at The Fort Erie Rotary Club pound the pavement to help collect ‘Change for Change’.

Thank you gentlemen for living and breathing the FEIA Mission

of becoming change agents and leaders by supporting local fundraising efforts on such a gloomy day - we are all very proud of each of you!

Tomorrow (Saturday) from 11am-3pm, students are again invited to volunteer with The FE Rotary Club. Students are welcomed to support in collecting donations from local Fort Erie homes by meeting by 10:50am on Crooks Street near Horne Park. Interested students should reach out to Mr. Ford to confirm participation before 5pm on Friday, October 23rd.

Students are encouraged to keep an eye on the student activity bulletin board (just outside the main washrooms) to sign up for any available volunteer opportunities.

 IT'S THAT TIME!

If you can believe it, we are already at the midway point of session one for our secondary school students.

Teachers and academic staff have been quite busy in assessing progress and detailing feedback for students and parents alike. With that, high school mid-term report cards are will be going home with students on Monday.

UNIFORMS ARE COMING!

We're very pleased to share that we've had word that our school uniforms will be delivered to us next week. In that, we anticipate uniform allocation to happen by Friday, October 30th.  Each student will receive two long sleeved polos, two short sleeved polos, 1 dress shirt and two pairs of black dress pants. Track suits are not yet ready as they were on back order, but will be here before the end of November.

We're looking forward to to seeing our students sporting their school uniforms as of November 2nd!

FEIA'S FARMERS MARKET IS COMING SOON!

Ms. Carrie has been secretly setting up a FEIA Farmer's Market for our elementary students. The Marketplace will be brought to life next week for a series of experiential sessions that will cover integrated lessons in English, science, history, health, art and math - stay tuned next week for the big reveal and more detail around the FEIA Farmer's Market experience.

IT'S GAME DAY x3

We've got a busy weekend for hockey coming up. Both the U16 & U18 groups left at the crack of dawn this morning to head out to Windsor to take on the A12 Academy again - this time at 1pm. The boys have been working really hard this week and we're crossing fingers that all the hard work pays off for them on the ice. Keep your eyes on our Facebook Page, as we'll be posting score updates as they come in.

Saturday, our U18 team will take on the TRC Wolves at our home rink again; this time at 8:30pm. A reminder again, that anyone not on the team will not be allowed into the rink; and the rink has now implemented a checklist that they'll be using at the door. If your name isn't on the list, you will not be admitted inside. Again, we'll keep you updated on our Facebook Page as we receive updates.

Go Falcons!

A few other things of note: The Hockey Game Schedule has been added to the FEIA.ca website and will be regularly updated for your reference. We're also working to add a 'stats' section to our hockey page, showcasing our player statistics; this should be live sometime next week.
