Dear Parents and Families of FEIA,
The FEIA Leadership Team and staff have been working tirelessly over the last two weeks to try and accommodate the evolving direction provided by both the provincial and federal government, with the hopes that students would be allowed to return to school in the near future.
In addition to ensuring our international students are safe and well cared for during the shutdown, FEIA has worked to be able to provide students with some schoolwork and online resources to allow them to keep their minds sharp over this extended break
With the news that Doug Ford shared yesterday, noting that schools will not reopen on April 6th as planned, FEIA is diligently working to explore the opportunity to launch an online classroom portal over the coming weeks. Our goal is to be able to provide all of our students with the lesson plans, instruction and support that they would receive in class, but in an online environment until such time as we are able to bring students back to the school.
We feel it is important, particularly in a private school setting, to make sure that our students learning continues to safeguard the opportunity for them to advance to the next grade and/or earn the credits they have been working towards.
We appreciate your patience as we work through all of the logistics of implementing such a complex system and know that we will continue to provide updates in a timely manner.
Should you have any questions at all, please feel free to email us at info@feia.ca.
Sincerely,
Connie Stella
